Hawarden City Offices Closed to Public
Staff continues to work and available by appointment
Out of an abundance of caution, and for the health and safety of the citizens and staff of the City of Hawarden, effective Monday, March 23, the City Offices will be closed to the public. Exceptions will be made by appointment only. Utility and HiTec payments can be placed in either drop box located outside of the City Office. Please call the City Office, 712-551-2565, if you need assistance in person. During this time we will also be suspending any new cable or internet installs unless all the work can be conducted outside of a home or business.
As Covid-19 continues to move throughout Iowa, we continue to listen to direction from the Iowa Department of Health and the CDC on the importance of everyone in our community doing our part by staying home as much as possible and utilizing social distancing! Please continue to do your part in taking the virus seriously so, together, we can slow the impact of the virus in our community and surrounding area!
