Owl Prowl Public Program

February is a great time for hearing owls during their courtship and egg-laying season. Join the Sioux County Conservation Board Naturalists on Friday, Feb 9th for a night hike to call owls from 6-8 pm at Oak Grove Park near Hawarden, IA. We will meet at the Oak Grove Lodge for an introduction on owls and meet a live Barred and Screech Owl! Then we will spend time hiking and calling for owls. Dress warmly and feel free to bring flashlight with red covering over your light. Pre-registration required www.mycountyparks.com/county/sioux.aspx. For questions call 712-552-3057.
